How does training improve your posture?

Before reading this, do me a favor, take a second and note these 4 things.

  • Look around. Where are you?
  • Note your shoulder position.
  • Note how popular your back is.
  • Where do you feel tight in your body?

What did you find?

How does training improve your posture?

As I wrote, I also concentrated my attention on the same 4 things and I found myself at home, at the desk I have full of keyboard, my back was rounded and I was starting to perceive some tension in the lower back.

Add the 7 extra hours I spent at the job sitting on a chair and it is not surprising that my neck is starting to act.

I’m sure you’re not even far from this scenario.

I can’t notice the way you carry around and not do something about it, and over time your posture will suffer.

Keeping a good posture means putting the muscles and ligaments to the test while you sit, you get up, walk or minds.

A correct permanent posture means keeping the head, shoulders, sides, knees and ankles bent on each other.

If you have to take a look at your body on the one hand, you should be able to trace a line straight from the ear lobe through the shoulders, the hips, the knees and the ankles.

Learning to maintain an adequate posture will ensure you:

  • Be beautiful and more confident

Keeping an open chest and standing up will make your appearance better and increase your trust.

By influencing your hormonal balance, a correct posture can increase testosterone both in men and in women making you feel more confidant and lowering cortisol levels, making you feel less anxious.

Bad posture can influence your breathing models.

Usually when you scare you and start feeling anxious, you start breathing in your chest and start making shallow breaths.

This type of response can be triggered by negative thoughts, excessive concern or a moment of crisis.

With an adequate posture you will open the chest and you will learn how to use the diaphragm to breathe.

Breathing with the diaphragm is much more efficient as it uses full lung capacity, it offers more oxygen to the brain and triggers a relaxation reflection that helps you to remain calm and relaxed.

If the joints are not aligned, muscle performances will also have to suffer making the lap difficult, having to spend more energy.

It is as if you were driving in the car with the handbrake.

With the correct posture, the joints will be in line, making the muscles work better, helping you move and perform tasks with much less effort.

You will struggle less easily and you will have more energy to do the things you like.

Keeping a good alignment in the joints is essential to lower usury, prevent excessive strains and lesions.

If you have something alignment in your car and guide for miles, what do you expect it to happen?

Your car will eventually break on you.

To start correcting posture and in order to keep it, it is necessary to focus on these key elements:

1. Flexibility

Flexibility means having a correct muscle length.

If you are spending many hours to sit at the desk, the muscles will tighten with shorter muscles that will take out the joints from alignment.

To solve this problem, you need to incorporate stretching into your training routine.

2. Mobility

Mobility refers to the ability of the joints to pass through their complete range of movement.

The muscle length, muscle elasticity and the way the nervous system coordinates the entire movement will determine the amount of movement that you will reach.

Rolling in foam (it will help you find muscle elasticity.

Stretching will take care of the length of the muscles and corrective drills will ensure that the nervous system coordinates the joints efficiently.

3. Force

Having taken care of flexibility and mobility, you can perform your workouts with a good shape, build muscles and increase strength and resistance.

The development of muscle strength and resistance will help you maintain posture during the day since the muscles will tire less easily.

4. Awareness

Above all you have to start becoming more aware.

Every time you train you check before. When you sit, when you walk when you bring something, check before.

At the beginning it might seem embarrassing, but over time, as your posture improves, it will become easier and a good posture will be inclined in your memory.

Your current ego will feel, will move and appear much better, and your future will thank you for this.

Happy living,

Razvan
